Trainer Training is delivered by an experienced Registered Nurse and First Aid Trainer, providing practical, real-world guidance throughout the session.
Course Information
This practical course is designed for anyone who may need to respond to an opioid overdose. You'll learn how to recognise the signs of an overdose and safely demonstrate how to administer naloxone, a medication that can temporarily reverse the effects of opioids.
Whether you're a first aider, support worker, emergency responder, or someone supporting a person who uses opioids, this course will give you the skills and confidence to act quickly in a life-threatening situation.

This course can be delivered/assessed in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.
There are no entry requirements for this course.
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.
This certificate does not require renewal
